Guest guest
I am taking three capsules of flax seed oil a day (recommended by my doc) and I have the oil in the bottle like you were talking about that I use pretty frequently...when I remember it! From: ~*Patty*~ <faussettdp@...> Reply- Date: Sat, 13 Mar 2004 07:11:14 -0800 (PST) Subject: Re: RE: Colleen, , Dimonds Hi girls, Are you guys taking the flaxseed in oil form, or pill form? Are any of you eating them in seed form, too? I've bought flaxseed oil in black bottles from the refrigerated section of the health food store before, but geeze, that stuff goes rancid so quickly! I started buying smaller and smaller bottles to make sure I use it up before it starts to have that rancid smell to it, but I always end up getting nervous about it and throwing it away. This was a few years ago, too, and I always noticed my brain fog coming back when I took the oil, so I kinda went on to something else. I take Evening Primrose Oil caps and fish oil, and that seems to have worked for me. I guess I should try the flaxseed, maybe in pill form. I do love using the ground seed, though too. The seeds seem to last forever in the refridgerator, and it is a snap to grind them up and add them to my oatmeal or whatever. How much flaxseed are you guys taking? Guest guest
You are so much better using the seeds and grinding them, you get far more of the essential nutrients from that! Guest guest
Doing the first two phases of the Fat flush, I am on 2 tablespoons of flax organic high lignan per day. I love the brand Barleans (www.barleans.com) as they have the freshest flax seed oil (organic) , air delivered immediatly from pressed date, a fresh pressed date listed on the bottle, and also a freshest before date. That way you know it is fresh. I also have about a tblspoon in my yogurt everyday of ground flax as well. The life long prgram would be to take alt least one tblesppon of flax oil per day, at least. I will always shoot for at least one of the oil, and one of the ground flax. I have noticed a huge difference in my bowels, and elimination, as well as beautiful hair, shiney and growing, and also supple skin. I personally like it even better than coconut oil, of which I was a huge advocate fo!. I never felt and saw results like this, on cocnut. (although I still think coconut oil is great, this is what helped me) I swear by this stuff, have lost 5 pounds on the fat flush, and also 2% body fat.And eliminated small amounts of cellulite on the upper back of legs! And cleansed my often forgotten lymph, kidneys, liver and blood...Flax seed oil is great for :better elimination, and great skin, hair and nails (esp the hair!) >From: ~*Patty*~ >Reply- > >Subject: Re: RE: Colleen, , Dimonds >Date: Sat, 13 Mar 2004 07:11:14 -0800 (PST) > >Hi girls, >Are you guys taking the flaxseed in oil form, or pill >form? Guest guest
Patty: I use the flax seed oil in gel caps. I'm not sure why I'm taking it...(memory lapse) I just recall you talking about it and thought why not. My PS also recommends it.
