Shari, I got disablity for my diagnosis of CFS. My Dr. wrote a note

saying I had CFS, and due to fatigue and my other symptoms, I am

limited as to what I can do, and there for cannot work. This was

after seeing about 25 Dr.s. He was an infectious disease Dr. (I was

lucky enough that a few years earlier he did a research for CFS

involving hundreds of people), unfortunately he did all he could for

me, and could not help me to ' get better'. He is an AIDS/HIV Dr.

ALSO, my psychatrist wrote me a letter saying I had SECONDARY

DEPRESSION, due to my physical illness. He charged me $300.00 for

that letter!! SOOOOOOOO I had both diagnosis to back me up. It sure

cannot hurt!! I also have FMS, but was not diagnosed with that until

after my hearing. Also, when I used a disablity lawyer, they said if

I could not get a Dr. to back up my CFS diagnosis, that I could go

to a Dr. who they recommended, who would. Anyway, I hope this

information helps you. Hang in there. You are doing the right thing

by taking the leave of absnese to help your healing! Good
