Guest guest
Hey girls, I was just thinking...Florida is so beautiful, but for me it is much more appealing in the cooler months. When it is very cold at home, I would love to be in a warmer climate for a nice break. In the summer when it is so humid here - almost always 90% and above - I'd much rather be somewhere with less humidity but still warm. Maybe we could do both places 6 months apart. Sun Valley this summer and Florida in January. What do you all think? Either way I'm in. Pam
Guest guest
Hey Pam that is a good idea. Of course for me Sun Valley is very appealing because it is so close to where I live. I also cannot afford to take allot of time off of work and I probably cannot afford to fly to Florida, pay for a hotel etc etc, I won't be able to do anything during the school semester either unless it happens to be a holiday or something. However, the summer would be good, but I also have plans to go to California for a week in July so it would have to be August for me most likely. I wish I had more vacation time and stuff. Shoot! But the good thing is that if we did Sun Valley, I have access to a large van, motor home (smaller type) and I can help with picking people up from the airport as I am not too far from them(3 hours approx) to fly right into Sun Valley is pricey and you have to take a small propeller plane or a small jet, either way they are pricey. I have an airport similiar to theirs right near my home, but I rarely fly from here, i usually drive to Salt Lake City because it is that much cheaper to. Every once in a while you get a screamin deal to fly from the small airports like Sun Valley or Idaho Falls but usually it is $200-300 more! EEK! The other thing is the place to stay, I mean if we have a place to stay in Sun Valley that is awesome. There is probably few places as gorgeous as Sun Valley, it is spectacular their. I kind of know my way around the small town and area too, places to eat etc. I can also tell ya that if you are going to Sun Valley and staying in a hotel you won't find anything less than $100 for an average place. It is pricey as hell. Of course it may be cheaper in the summer, as it really is a winter playground to the rich and famous tee hee! The winter there is gorgeous, those mountains take your breath away anytime though truly! Florida is great too, no doubt about it, I have only been to Miami and the surrounding area, and while I totally loved it, the humidity there is not my thing. I don't think I could live there. Hee hee, then again growing up in California with perfect weather, I never would have thought I could live in Idaho ha ha ha, the things we do for love! well, everyone just keep throwing out ideas and see what we can figure out. I would love to meet all my sisters!
