Guest guest
Hi all, been awhile since I posted because I had my family here from California and we were actually in the MOST spectacular house that we borrowed from my hubby's boss(very rich) in the hills of a little town called Island Park, population 200 hee hee. It was amazing, however that is not what this post is about. I found the answer to my pain! I cannot believe it, it is totally amazing and I have to share. I was taking too much of the wrong kind of calcium, can you believe it! I am not saying this is the cure for everyone, it certainly won't be, but if you guys recall, (you probably don't with all the posts here) but anyhow I have had foot pain for 4 years, it all started right when i got the implants, the foot and hand pain. I got rid of the hand pain upon explantation, well actually within a few months. The foot pain is achille's tendonitis and I still have that a little bit, however, I started to take these supplements that are calcium carbonate, 600mg each, and then they also have an all natural appetite supressant called cocoagen, they are very similiar in taste to Viactive calcium chocolate chews. The box said that it was safe to take up to 6 a day. I liked them so much however, and since they tasted like chocolate, there were days when I would chew up to 8 or even 10. This was around the same time that my feet got worse and then my hands started to ache again. I was so upset, started even thinking about going back to oxycontin or something, the mornings were hell, my hands were totally stiff and sore and my feet were worse than ever,I also developed what is refered to as a ganglion cyst, on my hand, under my middle finger. I ended up popping it on accident lifting something heavy, then I got another one on my wrist and this one was huge(this was only maybe 1 1/2 weeks ago that I got the one on my wrist) and it hurt like hell. So while we were in the house on vacation, both my parents and my hubby's parents were there, and his parents are very much into holstic stuff. My mother in law and I started talking and I told her about my pain and showed her my wrist with the huge painful cyst and she said that she had those too before and that it was from taking the wrong kind of calcium. I could not believe it! So immediatly I stopped the chews, within 2 days the cyst was shrunken and is now almost totally gone, and hands don't even ache at all! AMAZING! She told me that when you get to be close to 40 years old, as I am hee hee, that your body cannot absorb calcium esp the carbonate kind. I always knew that carbonate was the least effective one but had no idea that it could build up in your joints and cause pain issues, I figured you just pee'd it out ya know! OH MAN WHAT A RELIEF that hand pain was driving me insane. Now my feet are still not totally healed, however, they are much much better, and she also gave me this little thing that fits around my heel with magnets in it that I wear, they help immensly! GOSH I AM SO HAPPY! I just thought I would share this and hope that someone at least, ends up finding this to be helpful. I need to run but will write more later. I hope you are all doing great, I have not had time to post or read too much but I did read a bit. hugs girls

Guest guest
- that is awesome!! I am so happy your problem has such a simple solution. Also, you pointed out that you can get too much calcium and it does indeed deposit itself where it doesn't belong. Better to get it from natural sources!! HOpe you keep feeling great!
