Pam - I agree - I have already mentioned this to Kacey. I am going to call around early this week to some local resorts and see what type of help I can get. (florida) I will keep everyone posted!! I think the media idea will help us get our foot in the doors. Worse case scenario - for those with the limited funds, I have an extra bedroom and a pullout couch and will try to sleep as many as I can at my place for those who can't do the hotel thing - It isn't a fancy hotel but it is comfy & in a decent neighborhood. (for those who don't mind spending the weekend with a two year old!) hopefully I can get some support from local places - I will start with the beaches first. It would be nice for us all to sit around a cool pool and relax...

For those who are interested, please email me that you are so that I have an idea of a head count before I start calling around - it would be helpful in my negotiating. put my name in the subject line so I don't miss it... please try to get back to me by Monday am so I can get started. thanks

would FLA be better for you? I am going to try to go to Sun Valley also but since I live in FL I would be happy to arrange a second meeting for those who need a different date of can't afford the trip to Idaho. I was gonna try to call around to the resorts & see if I could get a deal or maybe a freebie if I could guarantee media coverage for them. if not, then I could sleep several at my place for those why can't do the hotel thing. I have an xtra queen bed along with a pullout couch, two add'l couches, and several recliners. it may be cheaper for some to fly here as TIA is just 30 minutes away along with all of the tourist stuff... southeeast may have tickets for around $100 for some. Please let me know as I would love to meet everyone - if FL is better for some then I will go to both!!!
