Guest guest
Hi Jen, I would go for it. Some friends of ours had mumps in the family (all 5 children) about a month before we left the UK and they came to visit. We had our DDS sharing glasses and she had a few kisses from the little boy (great fun!) and I believe it had the desired effect. About twelve days later she had slight swelling under the jaws, discomfort eating citrus fruits and a sore throat and mild fever. I'll never know if it was just wishful thinking on my part, but the symptoms and time frames seemed to fit so I think it was just a mild case for her. I would go for this without hesitation. Good luck. ) Sue My friend just called and is fairly certain that her middle daughter Has mumps (major swelling in jaw area, etc.). She will see her doc on Saturday to get confirmation or non-confirm. Wondering if people would Seek this out for trying to gain natural immunity or avoid it. Of Course, why get something if you might be able to avoid it for life. But I'm just wondering about it for my non-VAX 6yo dd. Thanks for your thoughts...
