From a physician who is very familiar with the problems associated

with aluminum toxicity:

melatonin as an antioxidant

herbal cilantro or chinese parsley for detox

IR suana helps

EDTA works real well, suppositories or IVs

and avoid all known sources, especially aluminum pouch citrus drinks

and vaccines!!! and antacids

and soy if possible

I googled and couldn't find anything about the aluminum pouch drinks. We

don't buy these because they're crap and full of sugar but my kids drink

them at parties, playdates, etc. Remind me - baked potatoes or fish cooked

in aluminum foil - still a source of unwanted aluminum exposure?

Aluminum juice pouch info:

http://www.nationalautismassociation.org/newsandviews/#capri

Many parents have relied upon Capri Sun as an acceptable alternative

to other more obviously harmful drinks for their children because of

its lack of artificial colors and flavors. However, the packaging

contains aluminum and the drink itself contains three different types

of citrates, each of which enhance the negative effects of the toxic

metal.

Many thanks to Dr. Ayoub for sharing his findings on aluminum

with us. Here's more information on aluminum from Dr. Ayoub:

Sources: Aluminum foil, antacids, aspirin, dust, auto exhaust,

treated water, vanilla powder, nasal spray, milk products, salt,

commercially-raised beef, tobacco smoke, anti-perspirants, bleached

flour, cans, animal feed, ceramics, commercial cheese.

Symptoms and Diseases: Flatulence, headaches, dry skin, weak and

aching muscles, senility, spleen pain, stomach pain, liver

dysfunction, kidney dysfunction, neuromuscular disorders,

osteomalacia, colitis, anemia, Alzheimer's disease, amyotrophic

lateral sclerosis, hemolysis, leukocytosis, porphyria, heartburn,

memory loss, numbness, paralysis, Parkinson's disease, excessive

perspiration, leg twitching, cavities, colds, behavioral problems,

constipation.

Nervous system- Aluminum inhibits Na-K-ATPase and hexokinase enzymes

into the brain. It blocks the electrical discharge of nerve cells,

which reduces nervous system activity.

Behavioral effects- Kidney dialysis related to aluminum toxicity

causes memory loss, loss of

coordination, confusion and disorientation.

Digestive system- Aluminum is used in many antacids, which reduces

the intestinal activity. Excess may cause colic.

Thx for the info- acidophilus is in his digestive enzymes. I was

giving it to him for about a month but now he won't take them. Such

is life with an almost 2 year old!

Thx , not sure about EDTA with a two year old. Would melatonin

be safe to give him? That is an interesting angle. We did do green

machine, which I believe has the other good green stuff in it, but we

will try more cilantro and parsley. What is IR suana?

We did do soy for a while in place of dairy but it made things

worse. I don't think I am going to proceed with more vax, I was dumb

to do one in the first place. Did anyone read my Intro?

Anyway thanks also for the great info on the pouch drinks.

Thankfully he didn't drink one last night at the party we went to,

but my daughter did. Now they have this rash all over, which I

suspect is from drinking too much milk mixed in with yummy New

Orleans (decaf) coffee! I have had the worst coffee cravings lately,

and of course they sip some of mine.

Thanks again!

I give my kids acidofikidz berry burst chewables. That might work for

him. I think I get mine at evitamins. It’s got a yellow lid, I think.

Maybe if he won’t take chewable, crush it and put in yogurt?

There is a product called Greens Berry+ by Ohms for kids. It has greens, fruit

and vegi's plus acidophilus and bifidus.

I would take 1 3/4 cup water, 1/4 cup fresh pressed apple juice (soft cider)

and a scoop of greens berry plus. My son loved it.

It can also be mixed with plain yogurt or mixed in a smoothie. Nice real fruit

flavor and only stevia for a bit of sweetness.

Take care, Lynda

I was reading the info about the Capri Sun in the

aluminum pouches..Can anyone tell me if they have

heard of SIGG bottles, and whether they are safe for

drinking?

Thanks,

Hi Sharon --

SIGG bottles were independently tested (Nehring, Germany) to prove 0%

leaching. I feel Europeans are way ahead of the US in terms of

contamination and environmental concerns.

We own several and I'm very pleased with them.
