Don't use antiperspirants - most natural deodorants don't have aluminum Difference between antiperspirants and deodorants. Some use those sticks - All Natural Mineral Salt Deodorant. Guest guest
Citric acid increases aluminum absorption... And for deodorant, I use my husband's Old Spice Classic. It does not contain aluminum. Yes, I smell like a man but at least I don't stink :-) Many people who are aluminum toxic have problems with chronic bacteria as well...usually strep. I hear the current issue of Mothering Magazine has a good article about alum. toxicity, though I haven't had a chance to buy it yet. > >I have just recently been learning a little bit about aluminum. Guest guest
Hi Krista, Modified Citrus Pectin can help to excrete low levels of heavy metals without losing your calcium, magnesium, iron, copper and selenium. It is also suppose to help with healthy cell growth. I am sure if you google it, there would be some information on it. More aluminum questions I have just recently been learning a little bit about aluminum. If anyone has any info. that could help me learn more I would appreciate it. One question I have is this: Does aluminum naturally leave the body if the exposure is eliminated or reduced ? Is there a difference in how the body handles aluminum in an adult vx. a child ? Do any foods bind to aluminum to help it leave the body ? My two year old son does not seem to have a problem now...but in hindsight I believe that his hypersensitivity to sound as a baby was a result of aluminum. He did have the vitamin k shot ( no vaxes) , and I had to have a c section because of my uterus shape and breech so I " m guessing some of those drugs contained aluminum. I would like to know more info. before we have baby number two. Can most people manage small aluminum exposure such as an occasional soda in aluminum can, etc ? Also does anyone have a deodorant that is effective against odor ? ok any other thoughts would be appreciated. TIA Krista
