Guest guest
I'm currently treating an eye infection with breastmilk for my breastfed 26 month old. It just appeared yesterday and it looks better already. I express a little into a dish, then draw it up in an oral syringe, and drip into the corner of his eye. Even though his eye is closed, I can see it seep in. He doesn't cry but he hates to be held down. My husband was appalled a couple of years ago when I " squirted " my older son's eye straight from the boob! I guess it's all in your approach! I just treated my 3 children for pink eye and ear infections with breast milk and the infections were gone in a couple of days with immediate lessening of symptoms. My dh was skeptical as was i but it worked for mine and i didn't have to drag them to a dr.-joanna
