Guest guest
Thank you so much!! I really want to help her because I'm afraid that she will just get their vaccinations even though she doesn't think it's best for them because they can't afford the formula. Of course it would be best if she were breast feeding, but that's a different story. I will do some research!
Guest guest
AFAIK, wic is federal and you don’t have to vaccinate to get wic aid. I know it’s somewhere in the archives, it’s been discussed. I never fail to be amazed how many times vaccines and lack thereof can get “tied” to so many things that is completely not vaccine related. What does having to eat have to do with getting vaccines? Kwim? Anyway, AFAIK, no. they’re wrong. Keep digging and talk to people who actually know what they’re talking about—like us Nita, Mom to: 14, Jon 13, 10, 8, 6, Christian (7/16/03 to 8/22/04), 2 and Isaac due Feb. 08 Learn from the mistakes of others. Trust me... you can't live long enough to make them all yourself. No virus found in this incoming message. Checked by AVG Free Edition. Guest guest
Shanda, I asked this question at MotheringDotCommune for a friend of a friend. They cannot withhold WIC funds for refusing to immunize. You do not have to vaccinate your child to be on WIC. You can receive WIC and not vaccinate. The thread, including documentation from government officials, is here: http://www.mothering.com/discussions/showthread.php?p=7641657#post7641657 <http://www.mothering.com/discussions/showthread.php?p=7641657#post7641657> Good luck ! ~Robyn Shanda wrote: > > Thank you so much!!
