Guest guest
HI, My name is Shanda and I'm new to the group, so far I've just been browsing and have enjoyed learning! I have a question that I'm wondering if any of you know the answer to; it's for my very young cousin that has 2 girls age 18 months and 2 months. She is in school and her husband doesn't make much money and so they are on some assistance. With her first she was doing her immunizations but since having her second she has done some research and decided for at least the time being she didn't want to get their shots. Now she is being told she can't get WIC for her girls if they're not immunized, does any one know if this is actually true? Oh, I don't know if different states have different laws but we live in Idaho. I know there are a lot of people that seem to give wrong information to people trying to pressure them to think they have to immunize. I have a friend that was told if she didn't immunize her daughter she wasn't allowed back in school. Which of course wasn't true and she went to a lawyer and got a letter, the school hasn't said a word since. Anyways sorry this has become so long! If anyone knows anything about this is would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Shanda
