Guest guest
We are using homeopathy as much as possible with ds (now 10 mos) (he has gotten Tylenol occasionally, but that is about it). However, he now has an ear infection and the eardrum ruptured. All this happened rather quickly (less than 24 hours). The ER DR. prescribed eardrops and antibiotics. However, I know that most ear infections clear up on their own and even the American Pediatrics association recomends taking a wait and see approach. Our concern is that the infection will worsen leading to hearing loss. Has anyone had any experience with this? We are not opposed to antibiotics entirely, we just want to reserve their use for when it is absolutely necessary. How can you tell if the infection is worsening? Thanks
