I do hope that by 2009-20010, someone looks into and factors the

issue of whether mothers of effected kids were exposed to thimerosal

in other products, such as Lujene 's report that injectable

collagen for cosmetic enhancement contains it.

Although this study by California's vaccine establishment

clearly sustains the fact that California is in the midst of a growing

autism epidemic and that California's system of reporting

professionally diagnosed cases of full syndrome autism is the gold

standard in the country, the conclusions are flawed and premature,

and does nothing to exonerate vaccines, particularly mercury

containing vaccines, as a cause of California's autism epidemic.

Although the mercury burden in vaccines has been reduced over

the years, we know that even very small amounts of mercury can cause

serious, life altering neurological damage. California's ban on

mercury containing vaccines for pregnant women and children under

three did not take effect until December 2006.

Today, those children born after the ban took effect are

between 4 months old and one year of age. California's developmental

services reporting system DOES NOT include children under the age of

three years old.

Actually a parent group funded independent testing through DDI labs. Does anyone else remember this? Wasn't Boyd Hayley a part of the testing? I can't remember which group, but it is online. I lost my hard drive unfortunately, so I no longer have the document. It was published within the past year as I remember. But that independent testing showed that indeed many of those vaccines labeled thimerosal free still have legal "trace" amounts as part of the manufacturing process. And sometimes those "trace" amounts are dangerously high. Again with multi vial vaccines it's not evenly dispersed and those at the end of the vial receive larger amounts. Some manufacturers were better than others as some were at 0 levels. We need more of this testing, especially in California since as Rick Rollens says we are the "gold standard" for autism. I'll keep looking for the source of this document.

So how do we get independant confirmation of the

mercury content of current vaccines?

Another point as well is that the reduction in

thimerosal is only in its use as a preservative. It

is still being used in the actual manufacturing

process as a " fixing " agent. Who is to say that the

drug companies have not simply upped the amount of

" fixer " to compensate for the lack of preservative, or

to mask the change in prevalance that would have

happened if thimerosal was the trigger?
