Guest guest
Hi Deb, I really enjoyed reading your post! It makes me excited to see someone that can " type so much " as I have problems with that and writing from time to time (see it's the little things that really do count I can't wait to be a recovery story! I can't wait to wake up one day and say, " Wow, I'm working, and I work out now, and I'm living on my own, and I'm doing well....Hey...I'm not sick anymore! " I can't wait for that day when I run to the computer and send out a post saying that " I, too, have made it! " But until then I'm pretty content knowing that one day it will happen for me too. And in the mean time, I just have to work on trying to improve my diet (one day at a time on this, as I'm 21 and wish I could live on Dr Pepper and pizza!), and focusing on anything healthy (supplements, coffee enemas, chiropractic work, acupuncture, magnetic massage...and of course the lovely massaging my body so that I can get rid of the scar tissue that is ABSOLUTELY EVERYWHERE IN MY BODY...yes, you can feel it through my skin---very lumpy, gritty, very " something's wrong in there " ). I firmly believe that the breast implant issue is about to change. I think that people are about to wake up to the possibility that saline breast implants just may not be as " safe " as people have claimed them to be. I hope that by the time I have children, I will have helped breast implants to be a thing of the past. I hope that one day my kids will find my scrapbook and video tape collections of the media that I've been in and ask, " Mom, are you kidding? People use to have surgery to put things in their breasts? " And when that day comes I'll just smile and say, " They sure did. I can't believe it either. " And Deb...I think you just helped me write the last paragraph of my book (yes, I'm really wanting to write one). And now that I know how it ends, the rest should be a piece of cake I hope. Take care, Kacey
