Guest guest
I have a question...why is getting Chicken Pox in unvaxed children such a problem? I have read a lot of people that were worried about their children getting pox while they were unvaccinated. When I was little, there was no such thing as varicella vaccine. So obviously, I was never vaxed for it. I had other vaccines which I wish I didn't now but I couldn't help that. I had chicken pox when I was 19 and made it through no problem. We started to vax our daughter and have decided to stop those right away. We have been " kicked out " of our ped...well not officially as of yet but they keep asking us if we got her 6 mos. vaccines (she's almost a year) and we told them no so the last time we were in there, they were not happy. That is their next step. We have found another doctor for her so I'm not too worried about that now. Anyway...I'm diverting. I really was just wondering what the big deal was about chicken pox in an unvaxed child and should I be worried?
