Guest guest
le, The 3 exemptions are to be able to sign a waiver for either the medical, religious, or personal exemptions. I had a long road convincing my husband. Now my husband and parents are very supportive and actually interested in all the news surrounding vaccinations. They come to me with questions now (though I'm no expert). And now that my family talks about the subject, they run into more and more people who don't vax and it just makes them more comfortable with my decision. We need to speak out, not just to reach the people who haven't considered not vaccinating, but to the people on the fence, the people who have " heard something bad about them but haven't looked into it " . And most importantly, we need to speak out against the medical community so that makes this decision so difficult. Marie Quisenberry leesamarie2828@... Guest guest
Amen to both of you. I am a 30 year soldier in this war, who has re-educated many on the danger and ineffectivess of blood poisoning. I am currently in a battle with our local newspaper over printing my response to a local Dr.s response to my orginial challenge to the Allopathic medical profession. I said I would pay $2000.00 to any Allopath who can prove that vaccines prevented or protected anyone from a disease. I simply stated, inject your vaccine into a body , if that body doesn't get the disease in a few months or years or lifetime, prove that the vaccine is the reason it didn't get the disease. Makes perfect sense to me. The local Dr.s response was it could not be proved that way and my challenge was asinine and stupid. The newspaper at this point has refused to print my response to this ignorant man(at least when it comes to health) and is currently being reviewed bu upper management. Back in 1954 when they conducted that terrible experiment on the kids with Salks poison(virus) and many came down with polio or died, from the vaccine, I was one of 42 million who never got the vaccine and never came down with polio. It (the polio vaccine fraud) is a long story but to give you just one fact infantile paralysis which is what it was called because it mostly affected kids age 1 to 5. Salks vaccine was given to kids from 6 to 9. Think they knew something? Anyway keep up the fight, the truth is coming out, we will stop this vaccination insanity before it is to late. Jim O' N.W. Guest guest
Hi again The kind of info I have collected over the years is not what they want Q public to know. Allopaths also spend a ton of money on advertising. I do not have a site at this time. In the past 5 years I have mailed info packets to new mothers and business in my county. About 6000. Things are finally coming together, and I talk to people everyday and carry info with me. This is basically a grassroots one at a time movement. My goal is to build a strong organization in my county and have the vaccine laws repealed in my state. Jim Re: Re: The lies about vaccination was New Member In a message dated 3/20/2008 10:38:52 A.M. Exemptions have to do with school attendance, not with being able to breath and live life in the world. Going to an ER has nothing to do with vaccines for school attendance and their exemptions. You can't live in fear of that and go ahead and vaccinate because of that fear. That's why its important to show that you have put thought into this. Some have an exemption on file at their peds..............some carry one with them. I agree totally if people are strong enough to do it. But in the ER while your child is lying there hurt or ill, it may not be the place. Guest guest
Guess no one read my e-mail when I posted it two days ago, yes some people had their children taken away from them, that is why I said I just say yes and don't even flinch or bat an eye. I do have my exemption letter on file at the Dr's office though so if anyone got nasty, I can say the doctor has had it on file for the past 14 years. Just keep the letter with you, like someone said here, you don't have to be afraid. I just keep positive and determined, NO ONE is going to take my kids away from me for that, NO ONE! You can't live in fear of that and go ahead and vaccinate because of that fear. That's why its important to show that you have put thought into this. Some have an exemption on file at their peds..............some carry one with them. Even though the exemption is related to school attendance it does show there are laws protecting people's choice regarding vaccines Sheri
Guest guest
To or anyone else in the group, How do I begin to get this exemption letter and formal does it need to be? What wording works best? I am in California and I have just begun my non-vaxxing journey for my 14 month old daughter. At this point in time, she is in daycare and when we started her in this daycare, she was " up to date " on her shots, but now I have decided to get no more and don't know how this will affect my daughter remaining in daycare. Does the exemption letter need to be legally filed somehow? I have so many questions about it, I hope someone can just put me in the right direction? Thank you! Guest guest
Congrats on your pregnancy le! I'm 36 weeks along today, myself! This is not a scientific opinion by any means, but I've noticed that attitudes towards not vaxing seem to be a little more accepting, in general, the further west you get in the nation. Seems like the allopathic community gets more and more uptight about the whole issue the further east you go. Again, not meant as a scientific opinion, and not meant to offend anyone, just a conclusion I came to about a year ago.. Yes, I read it and replied. I say that is VERY VERY rare and there are often extenuating factors. > I do have my exemption letter on file >at the Dr's office though so if anyone got nasty, I can say the doctor has >had it on file for the past 14 years. > >Just keep the letter with you, like someone said here, you don't have to be >afraid. Guest guest
Thank you! Congrats on yours as well! We are having a boy, what about you? From listening and reading (even this group) I have to agree with that statement. I think CA is pretty flexible in their approach to a few different things and that is def one of them. I have a girlfriend in Boston and she would have never even thought to see an acupuncturist or homeopathic Dr. and that is and has been our way of life for years. It makes me appreciate that I do live her but not to say we don't run across obstacles. le _____ From: Vaccinations [mailto:Vaccinations ] On Behalf Of Roberg Sent: Thursday, March 20, 2008 1:12 PM Vaccinations Subject: Re: RE: Re: The lies about vaccination was New Member Congrats on your pregnancy le! Some people make a copy and put in their personal files, give to babysitters, give to doctors to put in charts. It is not necessary as the exemption is for school and not for living on the planet. It used to be blue - the one the schools give you to fill out with the vaccine info - there is a place to sign to refuse on the back http://www.dhs.ca.gov/ps/dcdc/izgroup/pdf/imm230.pdf The law allows (a) parents/guardians to choose exemptions from immunization requirements based on their personal beliefs, and ( physicians of children to choose medical exemptions from them. The law does not allow parents/guardians to choose an exemption simply because the " shot " record is lost or incomplete and it is too much trouble to get to a physician or clinic to correct the problem. The back of the blue California School Immunization Record has instructions and an affidavit to be signed by parents who want a personal beliefs exemption. An up-to-date list of children with exemptions should be maintained separately by the child care staff so that these children can be quickly identified and excluded from attendance if an outbreak occurs. >Sheri Nakken <vaccineinfo@...> wrote: > At 03:00 PM 3/20/2008, you wrote: > >To or anyone else in the group, > > How do I begin to get this exemption letter and formal does it > > need to be? Guest guest
They're still blue. I live in San Diego and have one of those signed blue exemption forms on file at my daughter's preschool (she's 4 and has never been vaxed) and my son's school (he's 10 and was vaxed up until his Kindergarten " shots " before I knew better). I've never had any problems whatsoever from office personnel, school nurses, etc. Sheri Nakken <vaccineinfo@...> wrote: At 05:35 PM 3/20/2008, you wrote: >Sheri, > Are you talking about the little yellow immunization card they > give you here in California?
