Hi , i had my implants put in, in 1979 and they are silicone and i still have them....hard as rocks underneath all this fat that i gained...i suffer from panic/anxiety along with many many other things but reading all this stuff has set me back with that..i read something and then i start to panic, i hate my life i really do right now....i have had them in this long and with all the problems and surgeries i have had i have always dealt with them, but geez i need to do something about this and yet i am like numb about it all, i suppose i have a lot of fear and that is what stops me from thinking about it...i continue to read all the posts and then my head starts flying....I just have to put this whole thing in the Lords hands and what ever he wants me to do, it shall be done....I am now 46 and will be 47 in July....michelle you said you had silicone twice or did i misread that...and it ruptured???is that when they diagnosed you with lupus? Are you part of the settlement with dow???keep in touch OK sweetie love ya BJ

I am so sorry to hear about all the things you have been through.

It has been really so very overwhelming. It sounds like your

implants may have really affected you over the years. I hope that

God is leading you to having an explant. I will pray that He will

put on your heart what you should have done. Never give up hope.

Even as long as you have had them, I think there is bound to be some

healing from getting them out. I am 49 and I had my implants out 2

1/2 years ago. I had saline implants for 11 years and it took me

along time to figure out that they were making me sick. I have

gotten so much better!! There is always hope!
