vaccine discussion on Today show

I was wondering if anyone else caught what was said on the Today show

today about vaccines? It was about an outbreak of measles in

California. Both vaccinated and unvaccinated children contracted

measles. Dr. S.? said parents should vaccinate their children for

the health of other children. She repeated about vaccines being safe,

not containing thimersol and that measles was almost wiped out due to

the vaccine. Matt Lauer asked her question that was about vaccines

causing autism and other ailments. I thought she avoided directly

answering it and said that vaccines were safe.
