Dr. Feng-costs for explantation

Hello friends! Thank you to everyone who has given me their kind

advice. It really helps! I wanted to find out a little info

regarding the cost of explantation (En bloc). My insurance will only

cover surgery (in network) if it's a medical necessity. The in

network surgeon denies that my implants are the problem. So, I have

to come up with the money for the explantation. Anyone who has

gotten an explantation from Dr. Feng, what's the price range. Also,

how many appts does it take before she will take them out? Her

office is 7 hours away and I'll need to know this before I make a

consultation appt. Any input will be helpful. Thanks again for

everyone's help!

You can appeal the insurance co's decision. My explanting PS sent my insurance co a letter as well as a letter from the doc who tested me for silicone and an explanation of the illness....It took a while to get a decision, but they ended up covereing my surgery. Just an idea.
