I'd skip the antibiotics and see if it will naturally run it's course.

I am beginning to panic so any advice would be deeply appreciated.

Last week 2 of my children were put on antibiotics for strep, today my

oldest was diagnosed with strep. I am worried about my 10 month old

getting it. She has a cough, seems a bit irritable, and breathing

sounds congested. She is nursing fine and playing. Can anyone give any

advice? I have just contacted my holistic dr and am waiting for him to

get back to me but sometimes he's out of town. Would really appreciate

any advice.

Thanks,

Hi --

Keep BFing your little one (and make sure you're eating lots of fresh fruits

and veggies, preferably raw), you're giving him/her the best protection they

can get. I've found that building my kids immune system is the only real

defense to what they're exposed to.

Health & blessings,
