Guest guest
Well- my 3 1/2 yr old normally poops daily (we eat pretty healthy, she eats vegetables, drinks plenty of water, not too much dairy, etc.). So- when she became constipated it was very unusual for her- this has not been a problem at all. But this one time her poop got stuck and I had to put her feet on the toilet seat and pull her poop out. It was larger than normal and appeared hard. She was screaming bloody murder and was very scared. She was scared to poop after that and waited a day or so b/c she was scared it would hurt again. But she finally went and everything came out normally and she was fine for a month or so. Well...it happened again- her poop got stuck- and now she refuses to poop - its worse this time b/c her poop got stuck 2 times in a row...so now its been several days and she will not go...I know she has to go b/c she holds her butt and squirms and cries and has to sit down...and I am scared she is hurting herself. WHAT CAN I DO???? She doesn't even want to try and go b/c she is so scared. If I put her on the toilet she gets extremely upset and cries uncontrollably. I am so worried. I dont want her to hurt herself by holding it or to develop toileting issues...GEEZ! I also have a 2 year old and I am 35 weeks pregnant- I cant take much more, lol! THANKS in advance for any help.
