<phew> it went very well.. trip to health dep't

Got the kids their exemptions. I didn't even need the letter I took with me

just in case. I just went in, asked for their white cards, for the

exemptions from vaccines, they asked me how many, I did have to get one for

everybody.. filled it out, nurse signed it (the secretary lady worker), took

them one by one as the nurse signed them, said " this makes me think of the

movie " I am legend " .. (and I thought GOOD! Maybe it will do more than

that)... and they made copies, kept the copies.. the only thing I didn't

like.... and I left. No one said anything, no one made a fuss.

I bit my tongue on the 2 month old there, probably for his shots.. I felt

like in the lion's den kwim? A spy in enemy territory.. I wanted to

say to her so bad " vaccines aren't necessary " but I admit, it was

intimidating to say that in front of the workers there. I wish though that

people were presented with both sets of facts from both camps before saying

yes to that shot! I noticed the nurse said nothing to me but she also

didn't say anything about exemption to the mom w/ the 2 month old.

Of course where am I.. the main contributors to the lies and disease... and

the poster " traveling? Be sure to immunize. Ask us " ... makes me want to just

throw up!

But I got my exemptions and I'm going to copy them and put the originals in

a bank safe deposit cuz I won't get anymore! They asked me if already had

one. and they told my friend she should make copies cuz they only issue one

certificate (course if you loose your blue card you can get all the copies

of that you want!)

Had to go there to get isaac's birth certificate so figured I might as well

get the exemptions. Head start also wants an updated blue card for

application.. so I had to get david's white card anyway.

But it went well. I nursed my baby when I got home. Saw a 3 week old there

too getting her birth cert...bottle in the bag.. why don't parents

breastfeed?? It seems to be a real dying thing sometimes and I get so

depressed over that fact. That milk is all the " immunization " your kid

needs.. what's in that shot can't even come close to what your body can

do.... ohhhhhh SO FRUSTRATING I WANT TO JUST SCREAM!

Vaccines won't do it. Vaccines won't do it!!! This is the only list I can

really yell that on and get nodding heads in agreement.
