Guest guest
: the medical records belong to you by law!!! he cannot not give them back. put in writing to him you expect them to be mailed to you within the 30 day period allowed by HIPPA or you will turn him over to the State Board of Medical Examiners. i'm sure he'll comply! good luck. He did not want to even look at my symptoms for Lupus. One of his drs. that handles his urgent care dx. me with Lupus and sent me to a derm. and a rhuemy. I also got a copy of the notes from the dr. who dx. me with Lupus and a pos. chest xray for acute bronchitus. The head dr. who saw me today denied that there was a dx. for Lupus and pos. chest xray and said their radiologist have the final say on the films. However, I showed him the notes that the other dr. wrote down ( a dr. he pays to run his urgent care and the systems are all inter-connected) do you know what he did? He took my copy of the records I had gotten a wk. ago and wouldn't give them back. I'm going to turn him into value behavioral health and hopefully have a field day. I hope I don't say too much that my ins. co. could possibly deny me ins. due to my complex medical problems. It got a little tense between me and this dr. today, Dr. Joshi, my PCP. I showed him where silicone implants cause silicone toxicity which was item 5 on my dx. listed at their office. He didn't want to comment on that either. I feel this is just another harrassment and predudice that we have to suffer. He didn't want to see notes from my dermatologist or rhuemy. he basically brushed me off. He did not even exam me. He just started checking my medication and deleting that I shouldn't be on this or that, etc. And I needed to see my shrink for my psychotrophic medication. I said no problem, I was there yesterday. He restated several times, we cannot handle all of your medical problems you will have to get another PCP. I said, well I just had all my records transferred here, he said well you can transfer them again. I've only been there a few months. Can you beleave this. I walked out stating that I could not beleive I was being predjudiced because I had too many medical problems. Do you gals have any idea of recourse. I needed those notes too, but have given them to my rhuemy and derm. and hope I can get them from them. I think thats what upset him the most. That in their urgent car they dx. me with somehting and in there regular office they said it wasn't so. Was it because the blood work came back neg. and they shouldn't have said anything, or that they don't want to bother looking at all the possibilities? I think, I am too detailed of a case, I may know a little more than the drs. want me to, I may be a tad argumentative or debate an issue, but in the long run they are wrong. Alls I did was ack question and ask to be heard. He cut me off in a heart beat and said we're informing your ins. co. you'll need a different dr. we can't treat you but will provide you with referrals. I was in total shock! Any help would be appreciated. Love
Guest guest
, I know how frustrated that you feel. When I first got sick 6 years ago with the adhesion problem I could not get help from anyone even though I worked for the hospital that did my surgery. I tried to sue them for years because I was so angry at the way that they treated me. I ended up going to germany for surgery twice for an experimental treatment only now to find that it was toxic as well. My answer to you is not to expect help from the medical profession. I refuse to go to doctors except for my refills of pain meds in which will be a thing of the past (I hope). Doctors are also good for doing emergency surgery and diagnosing conditions. Other than that you will find the best doctor is yourself. I find so many answers here on line and from reading and keeping up with the latest holistic treatments. We have to let go of that anger because nothing we can say or do will change them. Over time, the medical world as we know them will collapse. I am trying to think of ways that I can help others someday by getting my strength back and going back to school for something in the holistic field. Even if I got cancer I would not seek treatment from traditional means. I had two ruptured implants and I know that I am healing each and everyday. It takes consitant detox and attention to our diets, exercise, water intake, etc. etc. God bless and remember how bad that the stress is for our bodies. Guest guest
YOu are being treated shamefully. I never cease to be amazed that many doctors are so arrogant and heartless and cold. Obviously, he would have never been a help to you anyway. I will be praying you can find someone more compassionate. Have you looked into holistic doctors? They are usually far better at helping you. Unfortunately, there are so few that they are not on most people's insurance lists. Do you have to go only to certain docs in a network? Don't let these bozos get to you. it is ridiculous to have to argue with doctors on top of the problems you already have. Many of us have been in the same boat. I learn to get around them as much as I can. I research alot and do what I can without them. If I need something from them, I find away to get it without going into the implants. They certainly turn a deaf ear and then don't seem to want to have anything to do with you. YOu have to realize that most of them believe whatever they hear. And they hear that implants are safe and we are a bunch of hysterical women who need to see therapists. Mainstream docs also do not want to hear the words candida, mycoplasma, detox, liver cleanse, enemas, etc. They think it all a bunch of mumbojumbo. You have to hook up with the right people. There are even fewer rheumys who believe in anything other than immune suppressants and pain killers and standard testing. Some believe in antibiotic therapy and they are few and far between too. Have you tried going online to find holistic or alternative doctors in your area? The yellow pages? Hang in there. Smiles, kathy > Can you beleave it!
