Guest guest
I used to think that I craved sweets all the time because I was depressed about being so sick. I would sit on the couch every night and munch on sugary snacks because it temporarily made me feel much better! Sometimes I feel irritated until I eat a piece of chocolate and it feels like I'm satisfied. I just thought I just had no will power, and my confidence was low. I went to see a fibro Dr. in Chicago who told me that most chronic pain women have an overgrowth of yeast in their bodies that causes an all over sick feeling, fatigue, body aches, depression, and stomach problems. It's like he was describing me! All my other Dr.s have said that all my many health issues were from all different problems. It sounded so crazy because I started having all these problems start at the same time. I bought a book called The Yeast Conection and the Woman and I was amazed by all the connections I had with the women in the book. That condition is called Candida, and it seems like quite a few women on this group are trying to fight it. The bad thing is that it's hard to get rid of! It thrives off sugar, which is why I crave it all the time. There is a whole detox program that seems to help if you'll stick with it. I think thatn having my implants, all the antibiotics I took while I was a flight attendant, taking the pill for so long, and not keeping as healthy of a diet as I should have, has caused the candida problem. My implants are gone, if I can get rid of the yeast, I'd probably get my old great body back! I belong to a fibro support group and nobody there has ever mentioned Candida before. Doctors don't believe in it, so usually we think that it's not our problem. I'm trying to get it under control though. Love, Daryl Re: Re.Sugar cravings Do you think the silicone creates sugar cravings??????
Guest guest
Daryl, even though there is no doubt you have a yeast problem, you should probably see someone about hypoglycemia. You're dietician at the hospitals can help you work out a diet plan and exacltly what to eat and when to keep the cravings down.
