sent away because I had too many symptoms!!!! by my PCP, refuses to treat me!

Can you beleave it! My PCP actually sent me away because I have too

many symptoms. He said he is not equiped to treat me and would send

me to a specialist who could treat all my symptoms. Actually, he

said he would inform my insurance co. that I should get another PCP.

He did not want to even look at my symptoms for Lupus. One of his

drs. that handles his urgent care dx. me with Lupus and sent me to a

derm. and a rhuemy. I also got a copy of the notes from the dr. who

dx. me with Lupus and a pos. chest xray for acute bronchitus. The

head dr. who saw me today denied that there was a dx. for Lupus and

pos. chest xray and said their radiologist have the final say on the

films. However, I showed him the notes that the other dr. wrote down

( a dr. he pays to run his urgent care and the systems are all inter-

connected) do you know what he did? He took my copy of the records

I had gotten a wk. ago and wouldn't give them back. I'm going to

turn him into value behavioral health and hopefully have a field

day. I hope I don't say too much that my ins. co. could possibly

deny me ins. due to my complex medical problems. It got a little

tense between me and this dr. today, Dr. Joshi, my PCP. I showed him

where silicone implants cause silicone toxicity which was item 5 on

my dx. listed at their office. He didn't want to comment on that

either. I feel this is just another harrassment and predudice that

we have to suffer. He didn't want to see notes from my dermatologist

or rhuemy. he basically brushed me off. He did not even exam me. He

just started checking my medication and deleting that I shouldn't be

on this or that, etc. And I needed to see my shrink for my

psychotrophic medication. I said no problem, I was there yesterday.

He restated several times, we cannot handle all of your medical

problems you will have to get another PCP. I said, well I just had

all my records transferred here, he said well you can transfer them

again. I've only been there a few months. Can you beleave this. I

walked out stating that I could not beleive I was being predjudiced

because I had too many medical problems. Do you gals have any idea

of recourse. I needed those notes too, but have given them to my

rhuemy and derm. and hope I can get them from them. I think thats

what upset him the most. That in their urgent car they dx. me with

somehting and in there regular office they said it wasn't so. Was it

because the blood work came back neg. and they shouldn't have said

anything, or that they don't want to bother looking at all the

possibilities? I think, I am too detailed of a case, I may know a

little more than the drs. want me to, I may be a tad argumentative or

debate an issue, but in the long run they are wrong. Alls I did was

ack question and ask to be heard. He cut me off in a heart beat and

said we're informing your ins. co. you'll need a different dr. we

can't treat you but will provide you with referrals. I was in total

shock! Any help would be appreciated. Love
