Guest guest
I know what you mean about feeling free when you ride! My dad has been a biker since he was around 17....and I mean a true BIKER!!!...completely bald, long, handlebar mustache, always in black...the whole thing. I've been teased about him my whole life because he is SO over the top!!!...he's been ill for the past few years from heart problems, so riding is his escape!! He had to sell his shovelhead and buy a bigger, more comfortable bike with the tour package and everything...but he rides every weekend!! Just a little funny side note...when my sisters and I were babies, our dad taught us to make the noises of different motorcycles to make fun of the ones that weren't Harley's (Yamaha, Honda, etc.) It was like a big party trick to see these little bitty kids making different motorcycle noises for each type of bike! It was an interesting upbringing to say the least!! From: " dimonds68 " <XENA6881@...> Reply- Date: Mon, 19 Apr 2004 04:03:36 -0000 Subject: Everyone's bueatiful pictures HELLO EVERYONE. I have not been able to post much lately. I just viewed the new pictures that were posted of everyone!! What a bunch of bueatiful ladies(INSIDE and OUT). It is so cool to put the faces to the names!! As soon as I get some recent pictures of myself,I will post them, so you can all see what I looked like(before and after disaster hit!). Today I rode my Harley son motorcycle for over 1 hour!!! This was something I could not do for my first 2 and a half years of illness. Of course I am paying dearly for it now healthwise, but it was WELL WORTH IT to do something I love. I will pay the price to feel like 'me'. Even if it is for an hour. I have been riding scince 96. It was one thing I refused to sell when I got sick and lost it all. I kept thinking...IF only I could ride one more time. I cannot belive I used to ride trips at 4-5 hours a pop, after I worked out for over an hour. AAAAAHHHHH those were the days. Anyway, I enjoyed my ride tremendously, it was a bueatiful day out, and I felt 'free', and 'well' while I was doing it. XOXOOXXO hugs and health dimonds. My real name is TERESA(TERRY).
