I don't know how to tell family members. What do you say is the treatment? I wonder if taking two classes this summer will still be possible. It means MTW class for 4 to 5 hours, then the study of grad classes. One class is extrememly hard, Research 800, the other should be moderate curriculum 504, thats a beginning level graduate class. If I don't get my Master's now I won't be able to because the statute of limitations must be met by Dec 04. I have one class in Fall to take. I figure I will do the best I can and if I need to take an incomplete on the Research class I will and finish it in the Fall. I should be able to do the one class in the Fall. I don't work and am applying for disability. Iggy, do you have Lupus too? I've had Fibro. for over 2 years, wonder if it was always Lupus. My first facial rash actually happened after my explant surgery. There was silicone spill at surgery. this week I was on Penicillin. that is a known cause of Lupus. I probalby had a drug interaction and it brought it out. I thought I was allergic to Penicillin. What a way to find out. Now I'm on Biaxin. I'll write after derm. apt. Love you , thank you, michelle

if you have a problem explaining to your family what it is here is the web site that will explain it all, just copy it and have them read it......as far as the fibromyalgia, i too have that and it can go hand and hand with lupus you can and most usually have both....i am allergic to penicillin....continue to plan on going to school this summer, i believe if you take care of yourself and do what you have to do you should be fine.....i will definitely keep you in my prayers and i believe you can do this, wait to see the outcome of the tests and go from there, don't panic when you hear the results just say to yourself i can do this and i will take care of me......i am always here if you need to talk or need any information about this OK, i am sorry you feel so alone i too feel the same way, unless someone knows how you feel and actually feels the same way its hard to understand, they can have the compassion to understand but not truly know how you feel....so its nice to see we are not alone in here, everyone is so sweet and caring that it helps put your mind at ease....talk to you soon OK take care BJ
