Guest guest
Daryl The Maker's Diet will be in and Noble and I am sure in many other bookstores. You can also order it online. From Amazon and and Noble. I am so sorry that your doc was so cold and not understanding. This happens so often. When I was really sick 3 years ago, I went to several docs and had all the tests run. they were all negative and the docs kept looking at me like I was crazy. One of them listened very intently to everything I had to say. I even brought my new husband with me so he would back me up. When I was through, he told me he knew what my problem was----STRESS! Can you believe it? Then he told me to go see a counselor. THe psychiatrist told me I was sick because I didn't want to marry my new husband. I thought if I could go to the rheumy he would understand. But I couldn't get in. So I went back to my regular doc and told him that I was in pain and was vibrating all the time. He just blew me off. I was sobbing. I refused to leave. He told me I could be admitted to the hospital and be seen by a doctor and a psychiatrist. I thought maybe that was a good idea. I was admitted to the psych floor!! How embarassing. Well, guess what. I didn't get to see a doc and the next day the psychiatrist came in and without examining me told me he knew what was wrong with me. I had panic attacks. Can you believe that? He gave me lots of xanax and pretty much told me I could take it whenever I wanted. It was like candy!! I went home and threw them out. I already was practically addicted to ativan and had stopped it on my own. I finally got to see the rheumy who was also cold and in the face of negative tests said that I just had fms and there was nothing he could do. However, he did suggest I see a therapist!! I then found an alternative doc who was a big scammer of my money. She took about $2000 in six weeks. And she was very noncaring. Then I found Dr. Sinnot in iowa who put me on the antibiotic protocol. Since then, I have been explanted and have done all the other getting better on my own. By researching and trying things. I would try the primal defense first. Work up on the dose slowly and if you herx you can reduce it and go back up more slowly. The full dose is 12 caplets a day. YOu should do that for at least ninety days. Fungal defense has more in it and may be too strong until you are sure the primal doesn't make you feel worse. Thrush is rather uncommon in adults unless your immune system is down. Remember you can pass yeast back and forth with your husband. And they can't always tell they have genital yeast. What kind of mycoplasma do you have? It is true that alot of people have mycoplasma but it is my understanding that certain kinds are much more likely to be associated with disease. In fact some research showed that myco's are much more prevalent in people with gulf war syndrome, fms, etc than in the general poplulation. Further, certain kinds--especially mycoplasma fermantans--is highly associated with these illnessess. Lastly, mycoplasma in an otherwise healthy adult may not manifest symptoms like it does in someone whose immune system is overstressed which yours undoubtedly is. Hopefully you will have better luck with your alternative doc. I would say that your yeast is symptomatic of your suppressed immune system. That is why it is so hard to control yeast. You can kill it off but it is constantly there and getting out of control while your body is not healthy. You don't necessarily have to get worse before you get better. Many people herx and that makes you feel temporarily worse. That is when you have to cut back tokeep herxing to a minimum. It is hard to tell for sure that what your experiencing is a herx, but it is somewhat safe to say that if you do something to detox or kill of organisms, and feel worse immediately or within a few days, it is most likely a herx. Herxes can be the same symptoms or new ones such as headache, flu like pains, nausea, muscle and joint pain, sometimes even fever, diarhea etc. Some people can stop a herx with peroxide and epsom salt baths, bentonite baths, coffee enema, vit c or olive oil-lemon drink. I unfortunately, usually herx to these also. I am very sensitive. People with fms often are. You might not be. The only way to find out is trial and error. Good luck. Hopefully your new doc will have a plan for you. It is very nice to not have to sort it all out on your own! Take care and hang in there! One of the things that I am confused about is how do I know if a supplement is not right for me, or if I am herxing? When I had that colonic, I felt so sick and the next few days were very painful. I had another appt. but I canceled it, because I was scared. > > The thought of getting worse, before getting better is so frightening! > I ordered the Three Lac and bought the Fungal defense (along with the primal def.) which one should I use? > I have a bottle of coc.oil but haven't opened it yet. I now know that is a yeast thing and I was so thrilled that after 6 yrs. finally something showed up! I brought in my Yeast Connection Book(which I answered 10 out of 12 questions postitive for Candida-Do you have sugar cravings?-Have you had many antibiotics? Do you have all over pain? etc.) > > I also brought her print outs from our group about mycoplasma and about other girls who are on protocols and detoxes and have improved. When I saw her today, she said that her research was talking to a Dr. friend who knows about implants, and he said that they did not make me sick. That is the only research she did. > > She also said that I tested positive for Candida on my skin, but everybody has that on them. I just walked out quietly and said thank you. She didn't want to lok at any of the reports I brought from other Dr.s about yeast problems. > > I have an appt. with a holistic Dr. on April 29th and I'm not seeing anyone else before then. I am having a terrible time trying to keep off sugar, I hope that it gets better! Sorry that I'm going on and on!
