Of course you fit in this group! We are all victims of silicone, and we know what it's like to feel alone and angry.

I had my implants in for 10 yrs. when I started getting terrible vaginal problems (burning, painful sex, etc.) along with abdominal pain, that made me think that I was dying. 2 months later, along came the all over body pain that never lets up. I've seen dozens od Dr.s who say that the 3 problems aren't related at all!

I can't believe that you had all those surgeries! What did the Dr.s think you had? Did they think that those surgeries would help you? Have any of them helped you at all?

I used to have a high amount of respect for Dr.s and now I think most of them are cold, unfeeling, robots who think they know everything, when they don't.

I should of had my implants out 5 yrs. ago when I 1st got sick, but becasue Dr.s told me not to, I suffered for 4 yrs. before I found this group and had an explant. My ins. wouldn't cover it, either. Luckily, my husb. borrowed $ from his family. Of course, they aren't too crazy about me especially since I'm still sick a yr. after explant. I need to keep up with the detoxing better. I have a book called the Yeast Connection and the Woman. It sounds like they wrote the book about me! None of my Dr.s believe it this.

I hope that you have a good support system where you are, that helps so much- Try to hang in there, just try and remember that you will not always be in pain. It has to get better, I really believe that!

Love, Daryl

Re: New person lol; you are not alone

Dear Barbara, you came to the right place. I also had silicone breast implants and suffer from Fibromyalgia, Bipolar Disorder, panic attack/anxiety, short term memory loss, loss of coordination, chronic sinusitis, hypothyrodism and asthma. this is a wonderful support group. I cannot beleave your insurance won't cover to have your implants out. I have medical coverage from the state and they covered mine. there have been other ways. Perhaps the ladies here know. You poor dear, you've really been through the mill. there is truely hope here. We band together and help each other through every stage. Patty is the founder of this group. There are many good articles, links and messages here. there is soooooooo much support and love here, we really care for each other, so keep writing, I hope you find a way soon to get yours out. I know God has answered many prayers here. He is there for you too and loves you, Hugs and Support, Baboola57@... wrote:

Hello my name is Barbara, i am 46 years old and i mean the word OLD because that's how i feel....lol and i have two daughters and i am a grandma of 2 granddaughters.... i was reading the US weekly magazine and i was an article on Kacey long, and the web site implantsout.com....i went on this and found this site....i am not sure if this is the right group or it i am allowed to even join as i have silicone implants that were put in me in the year of 79...i have many many health issues, including lupus, fibromyalgia, kidney disease, sjogrens, GERD, epstein barr, chronic fatigue, and many more that it just depresses me to even go on, i have had a total of 33 surgeries on various parts of my body, and in having one very serious one with my back, the lupus attacked my central nervous system so i also suffer from panic/anxiety disorder on top of everything else.....i am at a loss right now as insurance refuses to cover to have these removed, and most doctors do not believe the connection....i am one of 15 and not one person in my family suffers from lupus etc............i guess i just needed a place to vent and i hope this is the right place for me to go too.....i thank you for listening to me, and i appreciate any feedback..thank you Barbara
