"Dermatologist said I have rosacea which is a common skin disease that causes redness and swelling on the face. Often referred to as "adult acne," rosaccea may begin as a tendency to flush or blush easily, and progress to persistent redness in the center of the face that may gradually involved the cheeks, forehead, chin, and nose. It also may involve the ears, chest and back. As the disease progresses, small blood vessels and tiny pimples befin to appear on and around the reddedned area; however, unlike acne, there are no blackheads. the pimples of rosaccea appear on the face as small, red bumps, some of which may contain pus. these may be accompainied by the development of many tiny blood vessels on the surgface of the skin and persistnet redness of the face".

I am releaved of this diagnosis, however, it dosen't completely rule out SLE. I will wait for lab results for that. I'm still weak and am going to rest. I will let you know how the lab results look and after I see rhuematologist again. Let's hope this is just a fluke, and a bad fibro. flare. Praise God, I'm more hopeful, Love

I ride my bike, then ache later and hurt, but its worth it, It kicks up my mood in my brain, keeps the depression away,,,,, I have to get out of the house for a couple of hours a day at least..... Love you, and keep me posted or email on how you are.. let me know as soon as the tests come back,,,,,

the only thing with lupus is you don't want to exhurt yourself, if you feel tired rest alittle then continue doing what you were doing, if that is indeed your prognosis you will in time see how you feel and how much you can handle. I pretty much am living a normal life, and when i go in flares i just take it easy do what i have to do and then i come out of it faster...for a few years there every time they took me off the prednisone i went back into a flare, but its because i pushed myself over the limit, so listen to your body and do as much as you can until you feel no more......but carefully listen to your body and its symptoms...and hopefully someday we may be free of this nasty illness......keep on praying....love ya bj
