Guest guest
Hey Colleen and to those who need info on disablity. It is the 'norm' to get denied 2 times. The third time you will go in front of the judge, and then be approved, being you have a Dr. and or psychatrist to back you up, and a disablity lawyer(they wrote a letter to disabilty/filled out the forms as to why you cannot work/are disabled). That was the case for me, as well as alot of others I talked to . The third time is the charm/norm, so do not worry, you will get it! Even my Aunt who had Cancer, the third time she was accepted. I used Binder and Binder, who I would highly reccommend(as they were reccommended to me by others). Not sure Binder and Binder are nation wide though? I got disablity on a CFS diagnosis (from a Dr. writing a letter for disablity on CFS and my symptoms), and from my psychatrist for SECONDARY depression and anxiety, due to illness(he charged me $300.00 for the letter!!! YIKES). Binder and Binder took a percentage of my lump sum of money, and $1,500 up front(this money was included in the percentage, so they did not take that out when I got the lump sum). It did take a while to get(not sure how long). The process was long, but I got it, as well as food stamps $117.00 per month. I am on SSI because I did not work enough on the books(i have been working for 15 years)!! It finally caught up to me..UGH!!! What I make in one month is peanuts! I used to make more in one week, then I do in one month.!! I am not complaining though, it could be worse, and I am thankful I am getting anything at all...hope this helps answer your questions..hugs dimonds
