Guest guest
I am going around in circles, trying to deal with this yeast nightmare! For 5 yrs. I have been suffering with all over muscle pain, vaginal problems, abdominal pain, fatigue, and depression. ALL the Dr.s I have seen, have said that all my health problems are all separate even though they started within the same 2 wks.! What a big coincidence.... I was told by a fibro hosp.,in Chicago, 2 yrs. ago that I probably had Candida and wanted to put me on a very strict diet plus $1000 worth of supplements. When I came back to Las Vegas, I asked a few of my other Dr.s about it, and they said that there is no truth to it. I was sort of relieved because Candida sounds very hard to get rid of! So, I've been going on trying to deal with my condition, and I went a new Dr. 3 wks. ago who says I have thrush in my mouth. I refer back to the Yeast Connection book from years before, and when I finally started reading it, I realized that it was describing me and my symptoms! The Dr. said that she doesn't believe that implants or yeast is making me sick, but she is willing to do more tests and wants me to see an Immunologist. Goody! That same Dr. has sent me to a busy lab place 3 times for blood work testing me for things I've already showed her I've been tested for. She has me seeing an Immunologist. in 2 wks. She called me today, and wants me to pick up 3 different lab sheets to go back and test my blood for Candida at 3 dif. times at the lab again. She wants me to go every 4 days. She told me that all my other tests were fine, except for the Candida skin test, but she says that everyone has some candida on their skin. It's very difficult to get a baby sitter this often. Should I even go through all of this with this Dr.? I was hoping that she would write me a script for Nystatin or Diflucan for a decent period of time, but she wants me to see the Immunologist first. I do have an appt. with a holistic M.D. on the 29th. Should I just wait and see her and stop fooling around with this non-believing Dr.? I just feel exhausted trying to keep up with all these diff. Dr.s and tests. I told her about mycoplasma being found in me and she said something like "We all have that" I hope that this holistic Dr. will help me with this yeast problem. Is it really that hard to detect in our systems?? Sometimes, this whole things seems like one big practical joke and I'm hoping that someone will jump out and say "Gotcha!!" and it will all be over with! Cricket, how did your Dr. know that you had yeast? Why are so many Dr.s against even talking about it? Is he treating you for it? Thanks for the info! Love, Daryl yeast? After finding out that the fungus (yeast is in my blood) not a good thing from every thing I have been reading. It started me thinking about my kidney. I have just spent the last 4 hours researching and once the yeast gets into your blood stream it can effect all your organs. Im wondering if the pain with my kidney could be related. I know that there are a couple of you that also have kidney pain and nothing every showed up on tests. How in the hell did the yeast get into my blood? Was it from the implants?I spent alot of time researching the pills that Jim gave me and at first all I could find was the IV version which is toxic. Than I found the pill form which is very safe and non toxic.I hope this stuff works!I'm really a mess, considering I feel pretty good.I am so glad I had my blood tested again, this yeast could have just taken my body over, since I have no outward signs of yeast.no yeast infections, no thush, nothing that would have indecated that I had a problem with yeast.
