Guest guest
Wonderful ! I am SO pleased for you ! This candida is a real bitch, pardon my lingo, it's like an undercover agent, pretending to be all sorts of other things so the doc's can't detect it huh ? I also get some off days, but they are getting fewer and fewer. I have also been losing the weight I put on over the past few months. I normally weigh about 57kg's with 22% body fat , but I went up to 59kgs and 27% ! Bummer ! It's coming off tho, so I can fit into my jeans again hoorraayy. I think you will find it easier to lose weight now that you are motivated to not have all the starchy rubbish. Your husband better watch out, he's gonna have a strong, healthy, sexy lady to cope with...I can help you with the other, if you like/when you're ready - self-esteem is something everyone needs to work on anyway ! Thanks for letting me know about your progress, good on ya ! Fiona ----- Original Message ----- From: Beckwith ADVERTISEMENT
Guest guest
Thank you Fiona, you're so sweet! by the way, I LOVE your name! ) Maybe when I get healthy and lose some weight my husband will actually have an intrest in sex... hehehe in CA
Guest guest
My NAME ??!! Oh !! I'm surprised ! Believe me, it's not your weight that should determine whether your husband finds you sexy - the biggest sex organ is between your................ ........ears - your brain ! I could go on forever about the way some men " go off' their wives once they've had a baby or gain some weight, but they go bald, get paunchy or hairy and we've gotta just keep on lovin' em. Ha ! The weight will take care of itself once you get the candida sorted, it can really mess with your metabolism. What's most important is that you start loving yourself, as corny as it sounds ! You would not believe how many men I have spoken to who have plump wives and who think they are sexy - they say they hate grabbing hold of a bag of bones ! Anyhow, ridding yourself of the candida does wonders for your mental state, you will feel much more positive and capable ! Guest guest
Hi...just had to reply on this thread . As a male ( who has been fighting candida for a couple of years now , btw ) I couldn't agree more with Fiona's answer . , your weight shouldn't have anything to do with your husband's appetite for getting intimate . What he should be concerned with is getting you healthy again anyway...In either case , it should be something you work on together . Personally , I prefer some curves on women...and also haven't met very many guys who are into " runway model " thin women . Imho , that's more un-natural , and something that has been fueled by mass media and advertising . There are LOADS of women out there who are 5' 7 " 110 lbs and think they are overweight ! Be what is right for you...not necessarily what s Secret shows in their catalogs ! > My NAME ??!! Oh !! Guest guest
Fiona, along with the Aloe Vera Juice, Kiwi Fruit and the Olive Oil that was mentioned on this list, I have also heard that Niacin and Magnesium help relieve constipation as well. Since I've had chronic constipation since I was very, very little I am always on the look out for constipation relievers... ) in CA
Guest guest
Be careful with Magnesium. It makes me really sleepy. ??? >Fiona, >along with the Aloe Vera Juice, Kiwi Fruit and the Olive Oil that was mentioned on this list, I have also heard that Niacin and Magnesium help relieve constipation as well. > >Since I've had chronic constipation since I was very, very little I am always on the look out for constipation relievers... ) > > in CA > > >
Guest guest
Hi Lynne, I take my magnesium at night, like the calcium and zinc. I also take the 5 HTP and, since I ran out last week and haven't had more, I'm getting really depressed and not sleeping well again, so I'm thinking that the 5-htp works for me. Oh yes, the Homozon is oxygen bound with magnesium and when I take that, it DEFINITELY cleans my system ;- ). > > > Be careful with Magnesium. Guest guest
Well, that would explain a lot! This MSM must be contributing to my fatigue! Yow! > >Be careful with Magnesium. It makes me really sleepy.
Guest guest
Mic, The MSM is Sulfur. It doesn't have magnesium in it. > Well, that would explain a lot! Guest guest
I forgot to tell you congratulations on your upcoming explant! I can tell you that it feels GREAT to have them out. Ann
Guest guest
that is a great idea... if we could only find a sponsor that would maybe make a commercial out of it or something. the media would probably be all over it. I was thinking it would be good to record it and take it local highschools and have them it to the girls there so they can see that there always two sides to every story and it isn't always as glamorous as it seems! love shari
Guest guest
Hello Fiona, Welcome back. Thanks for sharing your story of recovery with us. I am so happy to hear that you are doing much better. I guess I should be saying, "Happy Anniversary" as you are approaching your one year. That's great news. I don't have any information regarding the liver issues you are dealing with. I do hope you go to the doctor before you try to heal yourself on your own. It sounds like it could be a little more serious than you think. I too have chronic hair loss. That was my main reason for explant. I was explanted two and a half weeks ago and still losing my hair. I have an appt. with an internist on the 28th and am hoping to find some answers. I was wondering if your hair loss stopped on it's own after explant last year and if so, how long did it take before you started to notice it stopping? Did you have an itchy scalp with it too? Or should I say do you currently have an itchy scalp with your hair loss you are having right now? I am just trying to find some answers before I go bald!! I'm sure you know how I am feeling. I thought I was the only one with this hair loss issue and when I read your post I was happy that there was someone else with my symptoms. I was very sad to hear that yours is back again. That's not very encouraging for either one of us. If I have any info. for you after my appt. next week, I will let you know. Wishing you recovery...again. Marie Fiona from South Africa checking in Hi all,For those of you who remember me, a big "Hi"! On April 22nd it will be a year since explant and here's what's happened:Just like you predicted, I went through the honey moon period when all symptoms stopped, including the endless hairloss. Two weeks after surgery I felt better than I had in many years, I had energy, could think straight, no pains anywhere, it was amazing, best thing I ever did for my poor abused body.Slowly a few of the symptoms returned, mainly the hairloss, which recently has been very bad, and what I think is liver issues. Overall though, I feel 200% better, and I would encourage any pre-explantees or those who are not sure, to go for it !I'm working again, have written a book about the experience, done some TV interviews, and continously distribute pamphlets to women to raise awareness, and it seems to be paying off ! All because of the marvellous support and info I'd gotten from angels like Patti and the others in this group. It seems as though the hairloss reflects how strong my immune system is, I'm just guessing here...but if I supplement Vit C or anything that boosts it, the hairloss worsens, as if my body has more ooomph to attack the "invaders" ( poor hair follicles!). I find it strange that it's mainly the head hair that's shedding, unless body hair's just not as noticeable ?Recently I kept battling with nausea, weeks and weeks of it. I went off coffee which helped a little, but then took Legalon which is Sylmarin, helped a heap, but had to do 2 courses before I really felt OK. I've noticed the whites of my eyes going quite yellow, research showed me it's likely liver/gall bladder...I wonder if the yellowness would go once I treat these ?Anyone out there had this ?Hard to tell if my skin's yellowed as I'm always tanned and it's hard to be objective about these things.More Legalon and one of the liver flush protocols on this site looms....Probably also explains the unusually severe pms/mood swings I've been having, as the liver deals with hormones too....I hesitate to go see a dr. as they end up giving so many toxic meds to fix livers....what do you guys think ? The natural route first ?Anyhow, it's nice to be back here, happy to share info with anyone who needs it !FionaOpinions expressed are NOT meant to take the place of advice given by licensed health care professionals.
