Very thought provoking, Casey. It reminded me of something I had long since

forgotten. My now 18-yr-old son used to having screaming night terrors as an

infant on occasion.

As a new mom, I really didn't know the difference between normal night waking

cries and the screams he made while seeming to look through me, although I

quickly learned. It would last for maybe five minutes, he was just totally

panicked. It was quite unnerving. My other children never did anything like

that. It was also pooh-poohed when I mentioned it to the ped. He went on to be a

very difficult sleeper for many, many years--somewhat relieved when I took him

off dairy but still quite a nervous child at night.

Once I became aware of vaccine dangers, I suspected it was that but after

reading your info, I now know for sure what it was.
