Dear Patty:

Quackwatch is pro-implant or anti-plastic surgery claims? I did not know that, could you please cite that information, cuz I'd like to read it. I guess I never pictured them in the plastic surgery arena of medicine. I do read their lit concerning other issues and for me it makes sense. I have had bad experiences with quack doctors giving me hormones I did not need and ending up in the ER twice! Also a dentist tried to rip me off with telling me my amalgam filling would hurt me, he just wanted to turn a quick buck! I'm glad I had a mercury blood tests. Beware of the "anti-aging" doctors, too!

I guess no one organization has all the answers, but Quackwatch does help others in many ways, so for that I'm glad to have them around. They give important consumer information on medical fraud. They can't please 'em all!
