Guest guest
I had a horrendous athletes foot during my severest symtpoms. I used lamisil foot cream a lot, for months, actually probalby two years when I'd remember it. I have had two podiatrists. the first one said you need something oral once its into the toenail. I never did hte therapy but use mass amounts of the cream. Most of my problem went away except some of the toenail fungus. Good news is the second podiatrist said it looked like good toenail was actually growing out. Perhaps the cream is enough but takes a long long time. I finally went with the oral. good luck. do many of us have these fungal infections due to implants? Thanks Lynda <coss@...> wrote: Well, if I find a topical anti-fungal that works, but I use Lamisil cream (think I will try the liquid) and tea tree oil (which is the recommended alternative to drugs) and still have it.LyndaAt 10:23 PM 3/31/2004, you wrote:>Can you use topical anti fungals on the toenails? Guest guest
I think I got this from using my mother's toenail clippers. She has diabetes and has toenail fungus. I had other fungal problems from my implants. If your immune system is suppressed, you will have fungal problems. Guest guest
I cannot take lamisil oral, so may be stuck with the toenail fungus. Diflucan does nothing for it.
