emotional freedom technique

HI all,

So sorry it has taken me so long to get back on this. I don't go

on line very much anymore because I am starting to have a life!! I

absolutely love this technique. On Dr. Mercola's website there is a

place where you can order the DVD's to learn it. They are 97 dollars

but well worth the money. My friend got them for free when she

attended his seminar and I get to borrow them for anoter week.

You have to be able to bring your feelings to the surface for it

to work and then it is a one time thing. Those feelings should never

come back again. However, we have so many feelings that it may take a

while to get them all covered. It is using acupressure ponts while

you repeat positive statements to yourself such as " even though my

mother abandoned me and left me in day care as a child I choose to

love and forgive her and understand that she was doing the best she

could " . It goes on and one and he uses live people with similar

problems and solutions. He is a Christian and it was also recommended

by my Christian therapist.

I also took a big step and decided to come off my

antidepressants!! This is the most difficult thing in the world. I am

going down very slowly so I don't become suicidal but have found a

way to do it. I started attending al-an-on meetings and found it to

be so helpful. There is a meeting somewhere everyday and everynight

and I never have to be alone again. The woman all have similar issues

as I do and I just wish I had found it sooner in life instead of

thinking that I could save or fix everyone. We really do need support

in life and too often we become isolated from people. And even if we

are surrounded by people we can feel isolated with feelings of

anxiety and deprssion.

Not sure if this will help anyone but I believe it has saved my
