Ed It appears as though the numbers of new members

are growing rapidly, I presume that you will have the

numbers. Also the share price of Pfizer stock made a

new low this week. Hooray.

Hello, everyone! I am glad to be a part of this group and would like

to contribute as much as possible. I am a member of a vaccine

information group on cafemom as well, and have found it very

encouraging to find other parents in my situation with my beliefs.

I chose not to vaccinate my son and I no longer go to medical

doctors. (Actually we dont even have health insurance anymore) I

have a lot of great information to share that I got mostly from my

chiropractor. I am glad to answer the tough questions if anyone is

rocky in their decision in vaccination.

Here's my quick story: WHen I waspregnant, my mother in law told me

she had a friend that was researching the link between autism and the

number of shots that kids are recieving these days. I thought it was

ridiculous... I was very pro vax and didnt know it. However, when I

learned all that kids are vaxxed for, I decided it warranted some

more research.

I took my son to the pediatrician for his 2 month appointment, told

her I would not be vaccinating, and suddenly a dark cloud descended

on the office. Anyone who has done any amount of research will LAUGH

at what she said to me: " The whole autism and vaccine thing came

about when a couple doctors at the CDC were sitting around one day

discussing vaccine ingredients, and thought that maybe mercury could

cause problems. Once that hit the media, it all went downhill from

there. " I looked her dead in the eye and knew she was lying to my

face - I was more informed than that. EVERY FOOL KNOWS the medical

community has fought this from the beginning!

Needless to say, my trust in the medical community plummeted that

very second. I have not been back.

So thats where I stand. NO SHOTS FOR TOTS! My son is 13 months.

Welcome, ! It's good to have you here. I know well that dark cloud. And

good grief--where did that doc come up with that explanation? Unbelievable. So

smart of you to do your research beforehand.

Thanks for sharing--you've made a very good decision about vaccines.
