Guest guest
Giving all remedies in WATER! I personally want to know the best way of giving the remedies and as a homeopath used to give them dry also until I delved into the 5th and 6th edition of the Organon (rarely taught in schools). Now I know a better way, so don't cling to how I did it in the past when it did work with some. Why continue something that could be done better. These methods were written in 5th edition of the Organon & the 6th edition of the Organon and also information in his work Chronic Diseases. The problem is that most homeopaths in the late 1800s and early 1900s never saw the 6th edition (where he discusses LM potencies). 5th edition explores C potencies in water. I don't know why they didn't know about that. So most homeopaths continued with his earlier method of using dry potencies and never advanced. he found too many problems with dry potencies and much more success with liquid/water potencies of C's and of LM's. The homeopaths training homeopaths trained in the way they learned. Then homeopathy pretty much died out in the US and when it was revived, it was revived by those who studied with Vithoulkus in Greece, who didn't use liquid potencies at all. So, a few homeopaths have figured it out - Little & Luc de Schepper, to name 2. And there are very few others. I'm trying to find them all. I have found that using low potencies in water solutions for chronic conditions is a much better way to go. And also using them in acute conditions wherever possible. For you, for acutes, it is also much better to use 30C and 200C in water potencies (mostly you will only have access to 30C which is fine - just may have to repeat a little more often - I teach in my classes how to use 200C for minor acutes and first aid and where to buy them) Also have a small list of homeopaths who practice this way (this is the way Hahnemann was practicing towards the end of his life, but for many reasons, this is not how most classical homeopaths practice today, and they should be.) Sterilize the bottles by boiling them. Use spring water and place 4 oz in the bottle. If you are going to keep the remedy for a long time add 1 tsp of vodka to preserve it. Place 1 pill in the bottle and allow it to disolve. Then succuss it by tapping it firmly in the palm of your hand prior to each dose. I always follow the instructions of my classical homeopath in how many times to tap and other instructions for administering. There are certain remedies that I keep on hand for use in MS and then I have a 50 remedy first aid kit for use when instructed by my homeopath. I keep arnica, calendula, rhus tox on hand at all times. Peace Liz Grimes
