I was shocked to find that Dr. Mel Levine, author of " A Mind at a

Time " is now being charged with child molestation. Dr. Levine is the

founder of All Kinds of Minds Institute. He believes that every

child is " wired differently " . I wonder if he was on to something

more.

A child's brain begins the " wiring process " from the womb - 3 years

What I have also learned is that ADHD is just another fancy term for

Right Hemisphere Brain Damage because the symptoms are the same. The

actual cause of this is Traumatic Brain Injury - either blunt force

trauma, surgery, or exposure to toxic levels of chemicals (they only

list lead and carbon monoxide as 2 major chemicals?). The

recommendations from the neuropsychologist for my son's IEP were the

same too. She recommended everything that would be recommended for a

brain injured victim. Also, after having been through the ADHD

evaluation process 4 times, that was also the first question

asked....has your child sustained any trauma to the head?
