So far today, the stock has hit a low of 42.89 and a high of 43.35. GSK is now trading at 43.05, up 0.93 (2.17%). The stock hit its 52 week high of 54.64 in January and set its 52 week low of 40.51 in March. GSK fell during the second half of 2007, but has been moving sideways this year. GlaxoKline announced this morning it signed a contract with the Department of Health to supply its Cervarix human papilloma virus vaccine in the UK. Technical indicators for the stock are bearish and steady while S & P gives GSK a neutral 3 STARS (out of 5) hold rating. If you're looking for a hedged play on this stock, consider a July bull-put credit spread below the $40 range. GSK stock could fall up to 7.1% before expiration and this position would still be profitable.
