Guest guest
It doesn't surprise me either, especially considering the fact of how hard you have to FIGHT to even find out how to get a religious exemption, let alone actually getting all the signatures you need in order to have all the paperwork in order to have and be able to use the exemption. The child care centers want a different form than the school, which requires signatures from different people. I was told by so many people that there was no such thing as a religious exemption for family members " So suck it up and get your kids vaccinated " . I was told I was a bad mother, and that my children were a " danger to the other children who are properly vaccinated and I have to protect those children from you and your children " . (Yea, that woman nearly lost her head and her job, but I somehow managed to be nice, wait for her signature and then calmly walk out of her office). Needless to say, it took me 6 months, but I did finally get my exemption. I have run into many parents since then that had no idea they even had a choice. They are under the impression that because their soldier HAS to have all the vaccinations, refusing to vaccinate their children could adversly effect their careers. Its sad and I'm trying to do what I can... but one mom can only do so much without risking the health care options of my children (We're stationed in Germany, only one clinic here, one pediatrician... I only take them in for things I can't treat here at home... but its a bridge I can't afford to burn right now). **************Get the scoop on last night's hottest shows and the live music scene in your area - Check out TourTracker.com! Guest guest
" that my children were a " danger to the other children who are properly vaccinated " People who say this are so ignorant. I always tell them, " Well if your precious vaccines work so well, then you have nothing to worry about do you? It will be MY child who gets sick, not YOURS. " They just look at me, speechless. I love it. > > It doesn't surprise me either, especially considering the fact of how hard > you have to FIGHT to even find out how to get a religious exemption, let alone > actually getting all the signatures you need in order to have all the > paperwork in order to have and be able to use the exemption. Guest guest
July 9, 2008 For immediate release and distribution Vaccine Autoimmune Project Publication 1 in 88 - Autism/ASD among Children of Military Families By F. Yazbak, MD, FAAP and W. Gallup In another sensational article, Ed Yazbak, of our scientific advisory board and Ray Gallup, our co-founder are revealing that the prevalence of autistic spectral disorders among children of active duty military personnel in the U.S. has reached an alarming 1 in 88 and that some 90% of these children are not getting ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis). This is unacceptable and we ask all activists and communities nationwide - regardless of their cause - for unity so as to help these unfortunate and forgotten children. It is the least we can do for our brave men and women in uniform: http://www.vaproject.org/yazbak/1-in-88-20080709.htm Warner, a military wife, activist, and mother is calling for immediate action! We request that everyone please support her courageous and tireless efforts: " The CDC Says 1 in 150 Children Have Autism; We Say NO! Nonsense!
