Guest guest
Just curious if anyone has seen this info. from the CDC? I was reading up on the AAP website just to see what they are up to as I know they plan on really pouring on the pro-vaccine propaganda this summer. I've been kicked out of my pediatricians office for refusing to sign their AAP waiver and have written them a " nice " goodbye letter with information substantiating my reasons for choosing not to vaccinate and signing the form. I included book titles, research links, DVD titles and internet clips for them to research on their own if they so desire. But when I found this article below I began wondering if it's really worth giving it to them as it seems as if the AAP is doing a really good job in dispelling the ideas about not vaccinating that I put in the letter. It's almost like someone needs to take what the CDC says and write a line by line counter attack (with references) for what they are saying...or at least have something like that readily available for us parents so we can offer something in return to pediatricians and pro-vaccine parents if/when the opportunity presents. Guest guest
The problem I have with the CDC graph is when they decided it was the appropriate time to use a given year. (ie., 1950). If one looks at the CDC graph from 1950, YES, it appears vaccinations did indeed reduce mortality rates from infectious diseases. However - if one steps back and looks at graphs that were done earlier (1900), they can clearly see mortality from deaths were on the decline LONG before 1950. In some cases, over 90%. This is one of my favorite sites for these graphs: http://healthsentinel.com/graphs.php A person/group can manipulate whatever data they want to produce the kind of results they want. If you look at the graphs going back to 1900 it is clear vaccinations played ZERO part in the declining of mortality from infectious diseases. In fact, if you ask anyone for the Science behind vaccinations declining the mortality of deaths - you'll get ZERO back. There is none. It's all based on speculation and hypothesis. I wonder why the CDC uses a 1950 graph vs. a 1900? (that was asked in jest - I know exactly why).
