Guest guest
When you have a baby unassisted @ home, how do you know when & where to clamp the cord or where to cut it? Jenn Spam Alert: RE: Real-Life Vaccine free kids? And my Peanut is going to be 4 in October, and she was born at home unassisted (except by the Holy Spirit, and Daddy was there with towels). She has never been seen by any medical practitioners other than our chiropractor and our dentist! She has never had ANY of the " typical " childhood vaccines, shots, vitamin K and eye goop at birth, no blood testing of any kind (e.g., PKU, etc.). Likewise, she has never had any of the " typical " childhood diagnoses either - no ear infections, no flu, no colic, no croup, no excessive diarrhea or vomiting (she has puked twice in her whole life, other than typical baby spit-up). We do co-sleeping and extended breastfeeding (our nursing relationship is winding down and almost done). She knows all her letters. She knows several hundred different animals (specific animals, such as golden lion tamarin, instead of just " monkey " ). She knows the difference between wallabies & kangaroos, alpacas & llamas, horses & donkeys & mules, apes & monkeys, etc. She knows where to find and what your uvula is (some adults don't). She is learning about the digestive system and the circulatory system. She loves to learn, and I attribute so much of who she is and what she is capable of to the fact that her immune system has never been compromised by vaccines and all their toxic (poisonous) contents. When she does get sick, she is well WAY before the average time span of a particular illness. I am actually going to look for measles, mumps, rubella, and chicken pox. I want her to be able to pass on *real* immunity to her children one day, not the contrived form in vaccines. It is not immunity; it is a false sense of security. Most people are just looking for a " guarantee " - like the 12 month guarantee on your mattress - they don't tell you that any stains voids the guarantee, any rips voids the guarantee, anything above and beyond " normal " wear and tear voids the guarantee, and who defines " normal " ? You guessed it! They do, and it is in their financial interest to classify anything and everything as above and beyond " normal " . Just like the dr's who say, " it isn't 100%, but, if they do get the disease, it will be a milder form of it. " There is *NO WAY* to scientifically back that up, without going back in time and giving them the disease while unvaxed and then going into an alternate reality and giving the same people the disease after being vaxed and comparing the two. This is not possible! They have just come up with words and phrases to try to placate parents into submission, and, when that doesn't work, they threaten (to kick you out of their medical practice or to alert " authorities " ) and call in the media to play dirty. Ever notice how many " celebrities " they call in to help them? What is that about? Like I care what Garner or s think about the scientific evidence regarding vaccines?!? They are paid a lot of money to memorize lines and pretend to be people they are not! I will take a well-intentioned, hard-working, internet-researching Mom or Dad over anyone in Hollywood any day!!! Yes, I am glad that McCarthy is getting the word out, but I don't want to play by their rules and turn to Hollywood! I want you and me, Moms and Dads, Grandmas and Grandpas, to get the word out. I am just as guilty about not publicizing the fact that Peanut is completely unvaxed, because most people are not ready to hear that. They live by fear and would just want to keep their kids away from her, and I don't want her to suffer when the truth is that the only dangerous ones are the ones who have been recently vaxed with live viruses (MMR, chicken pox (varicella), etc.)! Enough ranting; I am stepping off my soapbox now. I am so glad that new people are here questioning and searching for the truth, not just the dr's line, " I saw a child with (fill in disease here - pertussis, tetanus, measles, etc.) in medical school, and you don't want to have that happen to your child. " The diseases were all in decline long before the vaccines came out. They often create the fear of a disease because they have now developed a shot that they can make a lot of money on, so they have to create a demand. The government makes too much money off pharmaceuticals to not play along, so they do. If you look at statistics on the diseases, like measles, millions upon millions of people used to get them, and a handful would die. Today, millions upon millions get cancer, and tons of them die. Is this a good trade we have made?!? I don't think so! There is so much info out there; just be diligent about study, read some books and websites, and you will come to feel very confident in your decision to stop vaccinating. (I sincerely hope no one is offended by my message, other than those that vax.) Kim Wife to Port (12-19-01) Happy Mama to Peanut (born safely at home unassisted, 10-11-04) " Mama " to Cory (shepherd mix girl), Godiva (mini Lop bunny), and the bantam chickens (Spirit, Girlfriend, Mama Horsey, Rain, and our rooster Flicka) My son and 4 grandchildren have never seen a needle. Plus 40 million including myself grew up with out any of those vaccines with the possible exception of small-pox. Jim <<This list and others provide a ton of information about the dangers of vaccination, but are there any websites or sources that provide real-life stories about raising completely unvaccinated children? Something that would give those of us who have moments of doubt some inspiration to stick to what we know is right?>> I don't know exactly what you are looking for but I have 2 real-life vaccine free kids, one of them is 8 and the other is 1. What do you need reassurance on? How can I help you? :-) )0(~~~)0(~~~ )0( Mom to Brittany, born 08/31/93, dx'd IDDM 05/28/01; , born 06/28/97; Shayna, born 06/01/00; and Thalea, born 06/24/07. Guest guest
Thank you. Mainstream medicine makes it seem so complicated. Jenn RE: Spam Alert: RE: Real-Life Vaccine free kids? <<When you have a baby unassisted @ home, how do you know when & where to clamp the cord or where to cut it? Jenn>> When it's ready and wherever looks good. ;-) Most people who do home births with or without a care provider choose to wait until the cord stops pulsing. As to where, I dunno, wherever at first and then shorter later. There are books out there about unassisted birthing. )0(~~~)0(~~~)0( Mom to Brittany, born 08/31/93, dx'd IDDM 05/28/01; , born 06/28/97; Shayna, born 06/01/00; and Thalea, born 06/24/07. Guest guest
For something like that, you may be able to go to your library and look up some EMT manuals. I know the books I have used have an OB section to include how and where to clamp (of course since its a mainstream medical book, it won't tell you to wait until it stops pulsing). **************Get the scoop on last night's hottest shows and the live music scene in your area - Check out TourTracker.com!
