Guest guest
My advice on your free day is to eat clean and then have wine with dinner and some cake for dessert since that is what you feel like. Free day is ALL about eating what you feel like eating. Maybe next week you'll feel like eating that burger and the proverbial 2 dozen krispy kremes and my advice then will be to eat them and enjoy them! Guest guest
> I don't know, I just don't feel like eating junk. Should I anyhow? I don't know what I am going to have for lunch. I was thinking of going and getting a small like $0.99 burger or something just to get any greasy tendency out of the way but right now that sound pretty darn gross. I think the only thing I really want today is a nice peice of cake or something sweet for dessert tonight and a glass of wine, wine sounds good. =) > Free day means eat what you'd like, so if you feel like eating healthier, go for it. But if you feel like, McD's go for it I thought I'd really splurge last Saturday on my free day since we were out at an agility trial all day and I was armed with free day food. I only ended up having 2 small chips ahoy cookies and then 1/2 basket of cheese fries at the baseball game we went to later. Other than that, I ate pretty much on plan. But I was satisified. Guest guest
There's no rule that says you have to eat greasy junk. The point is to eat exactly what you want. If you want yummy BFL meals, go for it. Sometimes on free day I want the healthy stuff that I normally can't have because it's too many calories or carbs - like a bowl of Cheerios, peanut butter toast, a big whole wheat bagel with strawberry cream cheese. You don't have to eat greasy garbage all day if that's not what appeals to you. It is good to bump your calories up a little though, and to satisfy whatever craving you do have. Am I crazy? Okay, so I am wondering if I am crazy here. I have been on BFL for 7 days now, so today is my free day. However, I am just not in the mood. Last time I did a challenge, about a year ago or so, I would LIVE for my free days and pretty much binge on them, and this time. I don't know, I sit here reading the menus that have been posted for today and it all sounds so much better than junk. I went ahead and had pancakes this morning with a little peanut butter and jelly on top and drank a cup of grapefruit juice but they really didn' t satisfy me much. They tasted okay but I was thinking how much a shake or some oatmeal or something sounded better. I just feel weird about it though. Maybe it's because I had such a clean week for my first week, I don't want to mess that up....I don't know, I just don't feel like eating junk. Should I anyhow? I don't know what I am going to have for lunch. Guest guest
Nah, I think it's normal. It is hard to adopt a new way of life then for one day go against your newfound principles. This happened to me fairly early in my first twelve weeks and from then on most unauthorized stuff just grosses me out. I'm sort of the extremist type though so will always go way over the top with any endeavor, BFL included. It works here but other areas of life the extremist behavior is very self destructive, lol. Guest guest
I honestly wouldn't enter free day into software unless you think it's becoming a problem. It will take all the fun out of anything " free " and ruin your only day to relax and enjoy yourself. Of course you're going to swell from the extra carbs and sodium. Don't weigh yourself in the morning, you'll have a heart attack. :-) Drinking plenty of water and knocking off the really excessive munchies a few hours before bed seems to minimize bloating. It's normal to be as much as three or four pounds heavier the morning after free day. It's just water and it disappears within a day or two though. Re: Am I crazy? Okay, well so far today this is what my first free day has looked like: 2 med sz pancakes with 2 tablespoons of peanut butter and a tablespoon of strawberry jam with a cup of grapefruit juice to drink. a cup of seafood soup, it had big chunks of salmon and stuff in it, it was good and an onion cheese roll right now i am thorougly enjoying a peice of german chocolate cake (my fav!) I don't have a clue what I will have for dinner, but lucky me, it's my free day and I don't have to plan if I don't want to! =) hehe So question for you guys that use www.fitday.com do you put your free day in there too? I " m scared to see how many calories and fat are in a peice of chocolate cake! =) And is it just me or does your body feel like it swells from eating bad food? Maybe it's just in my head that i " m fat because i'm eating bad stuff, yesterday my clothes felt loose, today, I have the same pants on and they feel pretty darn tight! =) I'm loosing it. hehehe n

Guest guest
to think about sending my 21 month old daughter to a daycare, if she is not getting vaccinates, unfortunately she got all her shots minus the mmr/varicella, up until the 12 month schedule. Any thoughts? I can't keep her away from other children for long.

Your child needs other children to interact with, in my opinion. Holly **************Get the scoop on last night's hottest shows and the live music scene in your area - Check out TourTracker.com!
