Guest guest
Having had discussions with head office and the local company doctor in Qatar the local doctor finally told DH that no vaccination was mandatory. I went for my medical yesterday and had blood drawn for Hep A & B testing together with HIV but the nurse wrote a note on the bottom of the form that I was declining any vaccination should the test come back negative. She didn't ask for any explanation. I went for my interview with the doctor expecting a confrontation which didn't happen. I found out afterwards that unbeknownst to me, DH has already talked to him and said that there was no point in raising the subject with me following the advice from Qatar. So, there we go. I'm not required to get anything and neither are the kids. The only thing left to do is to have the kids' blood typed on arrival and to get a chest x-ray which is part of the visa requirement. We're done and the shippers come in the morning. Louise
