What can I do - push to make vaccines a choice not a mandate?

I'm new to the group and new to the idea of non-vax as a choice.

Over the past 2 weeks I've educated myself a bit more on the

potential side effects and lasting neurological damage that can be

created as a result of vaccinating. I know I have barely gotten my

big toe wet these past two weeks; however, I'm passionate about

devoting my time to making a difference in this controversy.

I'd like to know what has been done to get the US Gov. to change

it's position on vaccinations from a mandate (pretty much) to an

actual choice, similiar to the flu shot is today. Allowing parents

to choose non-vax without a having to sign a form, without evil

eyes, without the ignorant responses when we say 'no' to a vaccine.

I'd like to know what has been done and why the US Gov hasn't

listened and what we can do as an educated population to push this

change. We can all see there has been a slow shift toward opening

the minds of Health Officials with the medical, philisophical,

religius exemptions in most states, however, this shouldn't even be

necessary. We don't sign these forms when we refuse a flu shot.

I'd like to do more and am not an attorney, senator, congressman or

Pediatrition. I am your average B.A. Educated mother who has her

own successful consulting business with a strong passion toward

making the best decisions possible for my children and my family.

What can I do?
