Guest guest
Dear saline girls, when I had my consult just prior to have implants removed my PS said that if I came to him and explained I wanted my implants out because they were making me sick or causing me health problems he wouldn't touch me with a ten feet pole. He said he wouldn't touch any patient that made those comments. Just the fact he said that I thought to myself this will be a never ending war. (between women and surgeons) I never questioned him. I didn't aruge. I knew it was pointless. I knew he was basically saying he didn't want a lawsuit. Like all the surgeons don't. So, when I saw him even though I knew they were affecting my health I just emphasized I didn't want them in because they were uncomfortable, which was true and I didn't like the size which was also true. I just never mentioned the fact they were making me ill, because I knew I would never convince him nor his staff. I personally didn't want to convince him of believing me. All I was concerned about was him doing the removal correctly. I could get my support and sympapthy from other places. I just needed his skill to take the darn things out. He like all surgeons, excuse the french have to " cover their ass " . Its true. I knew I would never convince him no matter how right I knew I was. All the girls in his office were like robots. You have to expect that though, because anybody will push what they believe in. It will take the office girls or his wife getting really sick for things to change. Doctors will always take evidence over what women say. What I wonder is if he will ever see the light. I say that because his wife has silicone, her 2nd pair. Lets see how she is 10 yrs down the road and what he thinks. It will affect her health someday at some point. Then what. It will be interesting. She was as nice and professional as could be. I just know its coming. I say this out of curiousity, because sometimes we just don't belive the truth until we experince it oursleves. Sorry for the sloppy writing.
