Amy Amy, I do have one question for you. I looked at your profile and under interests all you have is LUPUS, Why? That is one of the diseases that implanted women get. It just seemed strange to me. Guest guest
Amy I can seriously understand why you want to get these implants. I really can. And it seems like you have given it alot of thought. Possibly prayer. But...the fact that you are still communicating with us leads me to believe that you still are not all that sure. I have to try one more time. With a family history of autoimmune disease you yourself are at a much higher risk. I have books written by doctors stating the high correlation between one kind of autoimmune disease and another. For instance if you have an aunt with lupus you are more likely to have lupus OR SCLERODERMA or a thyroid disease, diabetes, parkinsons etc. There is a genetic susceptability. Yet you are choosing to ignore all this info and JUST TAKE YOUR CHANCES!! Even though you have been told you have chrohn disease. So what if the doctor took it back. Do you have any idea of how many times doctor's misdiagnose someone with lupus and they really have ms? or RA and they have scleroderma? You can't put confidence them. they could change their diagnosis again at any time. The fact that you have SYMPTOMS of Chrohns should be telling enough that your body is already struggling with something. Yet you are willing to take the chance of putting a foreign object in your body and risk turning on your immune system further. Sure, none of us can see into the future. You may be fine. But the point is what you stand to lose if you lose the gamble. You aren't losing money, a job, or something that can be replaced. You will be losing your health and then everything in life that means something. Have you not heard anything? Women's relationships broken. Careers lost. Dreams shattered. Children affected. Even if you get them out, there will be no guarantee you will get your health back. Not all do, and those who get their health back never get back the same quality. I just really feel that God is trying to tell you no. We all have our crosses to bear. I just think your deformity is not as big a cross as making the wrong choice could be. Come on, amy. You could get the implants and feel good about yourself and a year from now, become deformed by an accident. Or a disease process. There is no guarantee in this life of physical perfection or even normality. Please please ask God to give you a very definite sign if you should get the implants. Ask Him to make you very convinced with no lingering doubts and that you will be at TOTAL peace about it. And then wait. If you don't honestly get that 100% peace without nagging doubts, then you know you won't be doing the right thing. I will pray for you amy that God directs you to the right path for you!! We all care. We wouldn't be taking all this time to write you if we didn't. We would never wish these kinds of illnesses on our worst enemies. Guest guest
Dear God child, with all that going on in your family. (Lupus, parken..MS) do you know it hits us where we are the weakest. If the implants aren't enough to cause an autoimmune disease, it will sure kick one off that's lying dormant waiting for something like that to set it off. Do not say you haven't been warned. Dear God child, don't get implants. I saw what you siad aobut salines, they still have a silicone shell. No implants aren't made of some silicone. I hope to hear we've finally convinced you. I like to see that letter. When you say thank you ladies for all your help I've decided not to get them.
