Guest guest
I just wanted to let everyone know that today Austin would have had his 17 month appt., but it was all about a blood test for allergies that I later refused due to " Informed Consent " reasons. Anyways, he had awful reactions with his 2 & 4 mo. vaccines which were dismissed by the on duty nurses and he went on to have convulsions at 6 mo. – which his doctor later found out about. After all of this happened I sent a letter to his doctor outlining everything that had happened (with all of the vaccine info that I had too). Low and behold when I went for our appt today she said that she has read a " few " books on the subject (Sears was one of them). Anyways, I was so grateful that she accepted the latest book by Neil Z. . She is also the " only " pediatrician that is not asking parents to sign any form whatsoever when it comes to refusing vaccines in this state that I know of. It goes to show you that some will listen if you ask them. Send letters, books, etc. if you have to. It works.
